Azmir is a cinematographer, camera operator, camera assistant and editor based in Singapore.
He graduated from Nanyang Technological University, School of Arts, Design & Media with a degree in Bachelor in Fine Arts, Digital Filmmaking.
His thesis short film that he worked on as an editor, ADAM, was part of the Cinéfondation Selection at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival and has clinched the UNICEF award at ZINEBI International Festival of Documentary and Short Film of Bilbao 2019 and won Best Singapore Short Film at the 30th Singapore International Film Festival. His experimental film, 'Streak' has also been screened at Brisbane, Australia as part of the Web3d Art Gallery and Singapore's Media Art Nexus.
Ziyu is a director, producer, and motion graphics artist.
She graduated from Nanyang Technological University, School of Art, Design & Media with a degree in Bachelor in Fine Arts, Digital Filmmaking.
Coming from an events management background, Ziyu has honed her craft through working on large scale events such as X-men: Days of Future Past premiere, and Channel NewsAsia Luminary Awards 2015. Bringing her skills to the film field, she has produced multiple student short films and secured several sponsors during the course of her studies and has since moved on to producing short documentaries.
In her spare time, she is a dance choreographer and performer, and her recent works include choreographing for VIU Original musical web series, 'So Bright 2', as well as performing for multiple Mediacorp live shows.

"After realising that her ah gong’s land wasn’t merely just a venue for
her family’s yearly Chinese New Year gatherings, Ziyu, a 25-year-old
graduate, attempts to dig deeper into the roots of her ah gong’s
horticulture business that not only stood the test of time but is also
responsible for shaping the iconic green landscapes of Singapore that we
know today."

"Delicious food is often described by its taste and smell, but what about
the sounds that arise? 'Hurry Curry' is a glimpse into the preparation
of curry chicken, a humble Singaporean dish that transcends cultures —
everyone has their own rendition. We hope to present home cooking in a

In partnership with the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG), the FilmFIVE Festival launched its nationwide filmmaking competition which seeks to nurture young aspiring filmmakers to empower them to express their creativity through films and photography.
'Red' was written by both Azmir and Ziyu; directed by Ziyu & shot by Azmir. "Growing up as the sole breadwinner of the family, WEITING (18) frequents the illegal fighting fish trade in hopes of bringing home cash for
survival. Her widowed and blind mother (HUEY YING, 46) struggles to
steer her in the right direction, only to fall back into this vicious
cycle."
